Company announces first deployment in Northamptonshire in 2025 and £15bn long-term investment plan in West Scotland
AI Pathfinder, a UK-based company, has announced its mission to deliver up to 2GW of sovereign AI supercomputing capacity at its AI Factories in the UK, representing a major contribution towards national AI sovereignty objectives.
The company will launch its first UK deployment in December 2025 in Northamptonshire, with planned investment of up to £3.4bn and will mark the commencement of its national operations. The first phase of installation includes the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, a comprehensive and secure AI solution, able to handle complex workloads across the healthcare & advanced logistics sector.

British company plans £15bn investment at i3 site in North Ayrshire as part of multi-billion pound vision
British company AI Pathfinder has announced an initial £385m investment as part of their multi-billion pound vision for the 1GW site.
The company plans to use the existing power connection at i3 in 2026 with a significant planned GPU deployment part of their ambition for the site to become one of the largest AI infrastructure hubs in Europe. As part of this long-term vision, AI Pathfinder is looking to invest £15bn at the i3 site in North Ayrshire.
Their investment in the west of Scotland is expected to create substantial employment opportunities, both through the delivery of the site's construction and in the diverse range of skilled roles that will support its long-term operation.
